Guidelines for poster presentation – POSICON 2018, CMC VELLORE

  • Posters will be displayed at the venue.
  • Design and layout specifications: The entire poster must be mounted on a 90 x 120cm [90cmhorizontal x 120cm vertical] flex. The poster does not necessarily have to fill the entire working area.
  • Your poster title, name, and department should be positioned at top-center of the board. The poster generally should read from the left to right, and top to bottom. Text should be readable from five feet away. Use a minimum font size of 18 points. Lettering for the title should be large (at least 70-point font).
  • Leave some open space in the corners for attachment purpose. Accessories for mounting will be provided at venue. The location for particular poster will be available at poster desk, an evening prior to stipulated date for presentation.
  • A Poster desk in the reception area will guide you. Please report to the registration desk.
  • You are encouraged to spend as much time as possible, during breaks, by your poster station in order to encourage interaction. We encourage you to carry some copies of your poster in A4 size for distribution to those who are interested in more details and do mention your e mail id in the A4 version so that those interested may contact you later.
  • Do carry a small pocket book to take down questions, which will help you refine your poster.
  • Poster awards include cash prizes and certificates. Prizes would be awarded only to the first author who is physically present during the evaluation and award ceremony.
  • Please note that all presenters must register for the conference, failing which their posters will be withdrawn from the program.
